Olefins and Polyolefins

LyondellBasell is the world's largest producer of polypropylene and polypropylene compounds and a top worldwide producer of polyethylene, ethylene and propylene. We also produce significant quantities of other high-value specialty products such as Catalloy process resins and Polybutene-1 (PB-1). This segment's activities are organized on an integrated value chain platform where we source and procure the feedstocks, convert to olefins and then further convert in polyolefin resins. The products produced end up in everyday applications, ranging from automobiles, durable goods, plastic detergent and milk bottles and food packaging. LyondellBasell manages its olefin and polyolefin business as a global business.
