Community Outreach
Our employees are encouraged to be actively engaged in the local community.
We also have contributed to the New Jersey Chemical Council Education Foundation to support educational initiatives that engage students in learning about science.
Global Care Day
Our employees regularly participate in LyondellBasell's annual Global Care Day, a day in which thousands of company volunteers at sites around the globe make a difference by participating in local community service projects.
In years past, we have supported Pathways to Independence, which serves developmentally disabled adults from our area.
Philanthropy
Our employees open their hearts and wallets to support local organizations. For example, they generously support local community-service agencies through an annual payroll-pledge campaign for the United Way.
Volunteerism
We encourage our employees' engagement in the local community. They serve as emergency responders, science-fair judges, referees, mentors, Scout leaders, teachers, coaches and school-board members.
