LyondellBasell (LYB) recently held its 15th annual Global Safety Day (GSD), displaying its dedication to the safety of employees, contractors, and families across the globe. The event featured workshops, training sessions, and vendor demonstrations aimed at reinforcing a safety culture.
The day’s activities at Bayport Choate were crafted to engage employees, promote teamwork, and highlight core safety principles. The event included the LEGO Communication Game, where participants built structures based on verbal instructions communicated via radio, emphasizing the importance of clear communication and teamwork. The Safety Pictionary game saw teams competing to solve drawings, blending creativity with safety education.
Additional activities included the Distorted Vision Corn Hole game, where participants wore vision-distorting glasses to challenge their adaptability and focus. The SDS Dart Game tested participants’ knowledge of Safety Data Sheets, combining safety education with precision in a dart-throwing challenge.
