Employees from Bayport Choate contributed to the Bayshore Elementary Back-to-School Drive. This initiative equipped students with essential school supplies, to help them start the new academic year well-prepared.

Bayport Choate provided an array of supplies including 50 dry erase markers, 300 pencils, 1,500 sheets of multi-color construction paper, and 5,000 sheets of manila paper. Additional contributions included Elmer’s liquid glue, glue sticks, sticky easel pads, primary lined paper, and various notebooks and stationery items. The total cost of these supplies amounted to approximately $3,000, with an additional $1,000 allocated for 35 electric pencil sharpeners for teachers’ classrooms.

In addition to these contributions, Bayport Choate also purchased school shirts for teachers for the 2024-2025 school year. These shirts feature the Bayport Choate logo on the right sleeve, highlighting our continued support for the educational community. The teachers have shared photos of themselves in the new shirts, proudly displaying the logo.

This support underscores Bayport Choate’s commitment to advancing educational opportunities and supporting local schools. The efforts highlight the LYB community engagement programs and reinforce the LYB commitment to make a positive impact in the areas where it operates.
