Bayport Polymers celebrated the 15th annual LYB Global Safety Day (GSD), focusing on a commitment to safety by engaging employees, contractors, and their families in a series of interactive activities designed to reinforce the culture of Goal Zero. Goal Zero is a safety initiative aimed at zero accidents, injuries, and environmental harm.

Global Safety Day was a Hollywood-inspired "Oscars" event, which allowed participants to walk the red carpet to highlight safety achievements. The event included various activities, such as Safety Pictionary, where employees used their drawing skills to identify safety topics; Wheel of Fortune, a competitive puzzle-solving game; and Safety Corral, an activity focused on hazard recognition. Additionally, the event featured Missing Safety Appendage, allowing participants to experience tasks with simulated missing limbs, and Know Your Energy Drinks, where team members guessed the sugar content in popular beverages.

Other activities included the Uniform Booth, which displayed proper uniform care and potential new options, and vendors' demonstrations on Dropped Object Prevention. A Dunk Booth provided a fun way to test safety knowledge while raising funds for Brookwood Elementary. Participants donated extra throws to dunk Site Manager James Guynes, with proceeds going toward school supplies.
