On September 6, 2024, approximately 30 LyondellBasell employees volunteered with the Salvation Army 360 Life Center to paint the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad caboose in Clinton, which was graffitied last fall. As part of their continuous safety culture and to ensure the job was done safely and correctly, the site started their day with a safety moment to talk to employees about working at heights. The LYB Clinton Complex employees completed the job in about three hours which allowed Clinton residents to once again enjoy the area where the caboose sits in Clinton.
